Tanzania

Tanzania is located on the east African coast. It is mountainous and densely forested in the northeast, but it’s central region is characterized by plains. About one third of Tanzania’s land area is set aside for animal conservation. This includes 16 national parks as well as game and forest reserves. It is highly biodiverse with a wide variety of animal habitats. It may be most widely known for the large-scale wildebeest migration. The images in this portfolio were captured in October/November of 2015.
