Banff and Jasper NP
The drive is magnificent. For about 300 miles to and through Banff and Jasper National Parks there are jagged mountain crests, exhilarating vistas, and crystal clear lakes nestled between mountain peaks. The scenery is unmatched. Jasper is more widely known for its abundance of wildlife. These images were obtained in November 0f 2013. The weather was mild and snow and ice were largely absent.
